  • Cha! Livin' Cali life is one sweet thing. I've made good quick friends with my next door neighbor, Karla, and we kick it at the beach a few times a week and have drinks together on the weekends. She actually gets along really well with Lee too. Surprise surprise, right? We all know how hard that is. lol Just playing.
But this new friend of mine and Lee's is really good for us. It's helping us grow together and we actually had a really good day together yesterday.
    (PHOTOGRAPHIC PROOF)

That's Karla right above my head too!

But yeah, we just sat on the beach lying down and talking. Being friends. Something we didn't get to do before our marriage. I take those moments and hold them very close to me.

Let's see......what else is going on? Um, I'm starting school again. I'm not sure when, but I know it will be at Navy College. The courses I'll be taking are focusing on highschool requirements so I can get a more recognized diploma than the one I was granted by my loving and very caring parents upon completion of the curriculum they taught me with. Maybe I'll learn how to not write run on sentences. lol

My house is coming along great! I have furniture after like a month or two with nothing but air mattresses! We still have that in the bedroom, but we can entertain guests on proper furniture. My couches are GREEN by the way. I very pretty micro-fiber lime green. They're so comfy.

I love having guest. My brother's Matt and Elijah are actually staying with us next week while my parents go on their cruise to Mexico. Lee took off those days so I'll have help, but it should be a load of fun! We're really excited to have them, and they're really excited to come. They want to see the beach so much! ;-p

    Well, I should go.
    Till later,

  • Official Update!

      Hello!
I suppose it's time for an update for you all. You've been so patient...the 6? of you who read my blog. lol

First, marriage is hard! Geez! I knew my mom told me over and over growing up that it would be hard, but I had no idea it would be this hard. I love my husband to death, but we've been having the same problems over and over. But we'll get through it. lol

I started a new job as a telemarketer. I know it's not the greatest thing to be, but the money will help our family. I'm happy. I'm going to start beauty school too. I'm really excited about that. Make-up artistry to be exact. I've always loved eye color, so I want to apply it professionally.

The picture was taken Saturday night in downtown San Diego. Lee took me to the Hard Rock Cafe and we talked about everything like it was a first date or just a couple of friends hanging out. We were both really happy that night.

Oh! Keep us in your prayers, please. We are trying to conceive and so far, no luck. But all in our Maker's timing right? Just please pray for encouragement.

  • Bright Shinyness

I'm going to be optimistic for the next week and a half.....even though on a nation holiday....my favorite national holiday....I'll be alone with no one to kiss under the fireworks....AND I"M MARRIED! But it's okay because like a lot of my friends, they have to go really lengthy amounts of time with out seeing their husbands. So I'm grateful.

I'm stuck on what to do with myself at times though. I have no money till my husband gives me some tomorrow, but I'm supposed to use it for food. Not gas. So I can't go anywhere unless I'm with my friends from down the street. But sometimes I feel like I'm invading their privacy so I try my best to give them as much alone time as possible. Plus all I have is this computer in the house for entertainment. And furniture, a blowup bed is all I have for now. So instead I've been watching a lot of movies and sleeping. And on occasion I eat.

This is my life as a Military Wife.
